Deep mechanical foundations
Egy Drill Misr Company for drilling and contracting works specialized in execution of deep mechanical foundations with Diameter ranging from 60 cm to 3 meters with depth more than 70 meters.
Bored pile foundation or drilled shaft foundation are cylindrical bodies made of concrete (with or without reinforcement) is a commonly used foundation for supporting heavy vertical loads. It transfers the load to the soil below or rock strata with sufficient bearing capacity and reduces the settlement of the structure.
The construction of the bored pile is divided into two phases: the drilling phase and the construction phase. In the drilling phase, the spoil is removed to form a hole of the required diameter and depth, while during the construction phase, the reinforced concrete is poured in situ. Bored piles can be drilled to depths in excess of 70m and typical diameters range up to 3.0m.
EgyDrill Misr have the ability and quality produce the Diaphragm walls / cut-off walls by cutter or hydraulic Grabs, depends on the soil strata and depths
Diaphragm walls are generally reinforced concrete walls, constructed in the ground using an under-slurry technique. This technique involves excavating a narrow trench that is kept full of an engineered fluid of slurry. This way, Diaphragm and cut-off walls with thickness ranging between 600 mm to 1200 mm can be formed as deep to depths in excess of 70 meters.
grouted ground anchor is a structural element installed in soil that is used to transmit an applied tensile load into the ground. Grouted ground anchors, referenced simply as ground anchors, are installed in grout filled drill holes. Grouted ground anchors are also referred to as “tiebacks”. Ground anchors can carry very high loads to hold down/ up/ back structures/slopes. The main purpose of geotechnical ground anchors is to prevent horizontal movement, while stabilizing retaining structures, including sheet pile, bored concrete pile. Additionally, they can prevent additional movement or stabilize existing retaining walls.
